Clancy’s lawyers ask judge to dismiss her murder charges
Lindsay Clancy’s lawyers asked a judge on Tuesday to dismiss her murder charges, even casting doubt on whether evidence existed to establish that she killed her three young children.
Her attorney said the entire case is “based on speculation.”
The striking shift in argument came during Clancy’s first court appearance since her trial ended in a deadlocked jury earlier this month.
Another hearing is set for early November.
