US death row inmate survives execution attempt | DW News
Christa Pike, 50, was still breathing after she was given two lethal injections in Tennessee. She was then hospitalized. Pike was convicted of murdering a classmate when she was 18. She was the first woman cleared for execution in Tennessee in 200 years.
