US Envoys Test New Opening in Ukraine Talks
US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kyiv for their first official visit to Ukraine after more than three hours of talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow produced no announced breakthrough. Joining Bloomberg This Weekend, Bloomberg News Chief Europe Correspondent Oliver Crook says the renewed US effort comes as Ukraine’s deeper strikes into Russia have altered the dynamics of the conflict, while European governments are watching the diplomacy with cautious optimism.
