Two giant pandas arrive in Atlanta on rare loan from China
Two giant pandas on loan from the Chinese government landed in Atlanta Sunday to head to the city’s zoo.
The pandas — a male named Ping Ping and a female named Fu Shuang — arrived on a FedEx flight from Chengdu, in southwestern China. Chinese leader Xi Jinping announced the rare loan on a state visit to Washington last week.
