Trump Says There’s Zero Chance of Replacing Susie Wiles

On today’s show, Mick Mulvaney, former acting White House Chief of Staff and Co-Founder of the Freedom Caucus, says the Trump administration “set” Katie Zacharia “up to fail” by not giving her enough preparation before she began her five-day tenure as White House press secretary. Suzanne Clark, President and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce, says businesses want greater certainty, including faster permitting, more legal immigration, lower tariffs and additional trade agreements to open markets and make supply chains more consistent. Kendall Scudder, Texas Democratic party chair, says the party has built infrastructure it did not have in 2018, including recruiting more than 1,000 precinct chairs and coordinating candidates across the statewide ticket.
