“A little bit less on metaverse for now”: Meta’s $1,299 VR glasses

Mark Zuckerberg told Meta Connect that Reality Labs is now focused on glasses for AI, that Meta is building fewer VR devices and will only ship them on a real breakthrough, and then unveiled one. Meta VR Glasses are the first IMAX Enhanced certified VR device, with Dolby Vision and Atmos, at $1,299.99 in the spring. He also gave Muse control of your Mac, wired it into Shopify and Stripe so it can buy from Walmart, Best Buy, Gap, Sephora and Wayfair, and said a new Confidential VM will stop even Meta from seeing your data.
