IndiGo, Air India Cancel Middle-East Routes Amid Israel-Iran Conflict Escalation

Major Indian carriers IndiGo and Air India have suspended flights to and from the Middle East as the Israel-Iran conflict intensifies. The cancellations come amid widening hostilities, with reported attacks in parts of the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Jordan. Air India announced a complete suspension of its Middle East operations, while IndiGo cited passenger safety concerns. SpiceJet also warned of disruptions to Dubai flights due to regional airspace closures. The crisis escalated after joint U.S.-Israel strikes in Iran, prompting airlines across Europe and Asia to reroute, suspend or cancel services.
