‘He will not succeed’: Dems hold meeting to combat Trump’s potential midterm interference
The Democrats are now pushing back against President Trump’s attempts to relitigate the 2020 Election and preparing to counter what he has in store for future elections. More than two dozen Democrats met in a closed-door meeting to map out a response if Trump tries to interfere in this year’s midterms. House Democrats have told MS Now that they fear Trump could use the “Save America Act” as a pretext and if that legislation fails, Trump could declare a state of emergency to make electoral rule changes.
