COP31 climate summit: What would count as success? | DW News

Can COP31 turn pledges to move away from fossil fuels into action? As the UN climate summit opens in Antalya, Turkey, governments face difficult negotiations over coal, oil and gas, climate finance and adapting to a warmer world.

DW’s Chief Climate Reporter Louise Osborne explains what makes COP31 significant, how wars are affecting climate priorities and what would count as a successful outcome.
