Amazon could spend nearly $500 billion a year on AI: JPMorgan
JPMorgan expects Amazon to pour $395 billion into capital expenditures in 2027, up 77% from this year’s estimated $220 billion, before climbing to $476 billion in 2028 as its AI buildout picks up.
The forecast comes after CEO Andy Jassy said last week that Amazon would invest “meaningfully more” in 2027, though he didn’t give a number.
