🎬 Olivia Colman highlights ‘Wicker’ themes of equality and feminism
Olivia Colman said “Wicker” explores themes of equality, feminism and the position of women, while offering audiences a dose of escapism.
An absurdist romantic comedy set in a medieval village, the film sees Colman portray an outcast longing for a companion.
Known as the “Fisherwoman,” she approaches a basket weaver, played by Peter Dinklage, who creates a supernatural husband for her, with Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd transforming into an Adonis woven from wicker.
