🎬 ‘The Odyssey’ opens in Greece, home of the Homeric epic
Greeks in Athens attended the first film screenings of Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.”
It adapts one of Greece’s most cherished literary works, the ancient Greek epic poem attributed to Homer, who is also credited with writing “The Iliad.” It follows Odysseus, king of Ithaca, as he wanders for 10 years trying to return home after the Trojan War.
