Witnesses describe ‘wall of flames’ as wildfires rage on in France and Spain | DW News
Fire crews across Spain and France are battling to contain some of the worst wildfires Europe has ever experienced. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez says there is a “light at the end of the tunnel” in the fight to contain the flames. But another heatwave is predicted for later this week, threatening to worsen an already desperate situation across the region. We speak to DW Correspondent Rosie Birchard in France, and to firefighter and wildlife management expert Lindon Pronto.
