Witness on Tupac’s killer: A ‘hero’ at home, ‘a villian’ to the world
A former detective who was part of a 2009 proffer agreement with Duane Davis, also known as “Keffe D,” gave his perspective on why he thinks Davis wasn’t lying about his involvement in Tupac Shakur’s murder. Daryn Dupree testified that Davis admitted to his involvement during an interview with law enforcement that was originally focused on the murder of Christopher Wallace, also known as The Notorious B.I.G.
Under a proffer agreement, a suspect gives potentially useful information to police under the condition that police cannot use it against them, with some exceptions.
