Why Putin Ordered ‘General Armageddon’ to Target 7 Bridges: Is Russia Planning to Split Kyiv ? LIVE

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly ordered General Sergei Surovikin, nicknamed “General Armageddon,” to target seven bridges across the Dnipro River in Kyiv, according to The Telegraph. The reported plan has raised concerns that attacks on the capital’s key road and rail crossings could disrupt civilian movement, interrupt supply routes and weaken connections with northern Ukraine. The report linked the alleged escalation to Russia’s difficulties advancing around Pokrovsk and Lyman in the Donbas, alongside challenges replacing battlefield losses. The reported bridge-targeting plan also comes as Ukraine faces pressure on its air defences, including shortages of Patriot interceptor missiles. However, the alleged orders and the precise scope of the reported plan remain claims attributed to the report.
