Why Andrew Tate And Brother Tristan Have Been Indicted In Romania Over Trafficking And Other Charges
Romanian prosecutors have formally indicted social media influencer Andrew Tate on charges including trafficking of minors, money laundering, sex with a minor and witness tampering. His brother Tristan Tate has been indicted for complicity. The Tate brothers, who hold dual US and British citizenship and have lived mainly in Romania since 2017, were arrested in Miami in late July following a British extradition request. They have been under investigation in Romania since December 2022. Prosecutors allege the brothers recruited victims and forced them into producing content for a webcam business.
