What now for Saudi Arabia after deadliest attack since start of Iran War | DW News


At least 12 people are dead and more than 300 wounded after an attack on Riyadh’s international airport. The airport has closed, and schools across the Saudi capital have switched to remote learning. Airlines are rerouting flight paths to avoid Riyadh. Saudi Arabia has blamed the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen. Now the Houthis are warning airlines not to use any of Saudi Arabia’s airports. It follows a spate of attacks this week that have shattered assumptions about the kingdom’s security. How will this impact Saudi Arabia’s image as a stable destination for business and international events, and how will the kingdom respond?
