Outgoing West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will hold a press conference on Tuesday, a day after her party Trinamool Congress (TMC) was routed in state assembly elections. Mamata will hold the briefing at Kalighat at 4 pm.
While it is not immediately clear about what she will talk about during the briefing, reports have indicated that the three-term chief minister might discuss TMC’s next plan of action. She on Monday talked about not accepting the Bengal verdict, saying, “I do not accept this loss.” Mamata also lost her seat to BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari from Bhowanipore, her bastion, by 15,105 votes.
