WATCH: Trans CIA officer on serving under Trump: ‘Wanted my service but didn’t want anyone to know’
Julia Curlee spent decades serving the government across multiple presidential administrations, including Trump and Biden. However, she was fired quickly after President Trump took office for the second time. Curlee, who is the first transgender CIA officer to stay in the position after transitioning, joins Peter Alexander to speak out about her years of service in the intelligence community and her national security concerns after being let go. MS NOW reached out to the White House about Curlee’s comments to which they defended her firing, saying Trump “can remove any executive branch official at his discretion.”
