WATCH: Millions breathing harmful levels of air pollution in U.S.

A new report is highlighting the troubling state of the nation’s air quality.

According to a study from the American Lung Association released Wednesday, more than 150 million people, or roughly one in four Americans, live in areas affected by harmful levels of pollution.

Roughly 33 million children live in areas that failed at least one measure of air pollution, and
more than 7 million of those live in a community that failed all air quality measures.

According to the report, four of the five most polluted cities are in California, with the Los Angeles and Long Beach area topping the list.
