Warren Buffett stepping down as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway
Warren Buffett is stepping down as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, effective immediately, the company said Friday.
Buffett will become chairman emeritus and his son, Howard Buffett, will replace him as chairman.
The legendary investor has led Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire since 1965.
