The United States conducted large-scale strikes on Iran early Sunday, hitting around 140 targets including missile and drone sites, in response to an Iranian attack on a container ship in the Strait of Hormuz that set it ablaze.Iran reportedly retaliated by targeting Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE.The strait, through which a fifth of global oil and gas passes, remains a critical flashpoint in efforts to end the war that began on February 28.
