US Deploys Air Defences Near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Amid Reports Of Possible Post-Midterm Iran Strikes
Is Donald Trump strengthening security around his Mar-a-Lago estate as the United States considers renewed military strikes against Iran? The US military has deployed short-range air defence systems near Trump’s Florida residence, raising questions about the timing of the move amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran.
According to reports, two Avenger air defence systems have been positioned on a floating barge in Lake Worth Lagoon, near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach. A separate deployment was also reported near the airport used during the US president’s Florida visits. NORAD and US Northern Command confirmed that the deployment followed a request from the Secret Service, which described the systems as an additional layer of presidential protection.
