As Donald Trump and Republicans portray themselves as champions of the meat industry, a closer look shows businesses are on the verge of collapse under their watch. Over the last year, beef prices have shot up 13% with experts citing the surge on inflation, tariffs, and labor shortages. And now, many of Texas’ most beloved BBQ restaurants are struggling as they deal with these high prices.
