Trump’s midterm spending strategy to help GOP candidates: Ads about Trump
President Trump has come up with a simple plan to win the midterm elections: more Trump. According to new reporting from The Atlantic, the President gathered top political advisers in the oval office this month to discuss how to spend his super PAC’s $400 million ahead of the midterms before landing on the strategy of focusing on himself. The outlet reports Trump plans on ordering a series of TV ads about his own record that will serve as a backdrop to the hundreds of individual House and Senate races. The Morning Joe panel discusses why that might not be such a great idea considering Trump’s record low polling numbers.
