Trump Marks 9/11 Anniversary at Pentagon With Iran War Defense (Remarks)

President Donald Trump joins officials – including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Caine – at a commemoration held at the Pentagon 25 years after the September 11, 2001 attacks. Trump, saluting servicemembers, says that Iran will never get a nuclear weapon, and emphasizes an American spirit “to endure and preview and to win” in the years since 9/11. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also used part of his remarks to address the war with Iran, saying “We control the strait. We will finish this fight.”
