US President Donald Trump is threatening an all-out assault on Iran’s economy. Trump said on social media that Iran would face “economic warfare on an unprecedented scale.” He also threatened what he called “tremendous economic consequences” for any country or business providing Iran with any type of lifeline. DW News spoke with Miad Maleki, a senior fellow with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.
