Trump announces indefinite Iran ceasefire: What it means for the war
US President Donald Trump said he’s extended the ceasefire with Iran until Tehran has submitted a proposal to end the conflict permanently. The ceasefire was due to expire Wednesday evening ET.
Trump said he will continue the US blockade of Iranian ports. Iran’s foreign minister had said the US action amounts to an “act of war” and violates the ceasefire.
