Donald Trump is turning once again to his favorite excuse: national security. It’s helped him build a ballroom, restrict protestors and rollback environmental protections. And now, the latest target is the press. White House correspondent April Ryan said it won’t deter her and her peers: “[Trump] does not like the bright light. Like Ida B. Wells said, put a bright light on what’s happening so people can see.”
