Spanish police clash with migrants as Ceuta crisis deepens | DW News


Spanish police have begun moving hundreds of migrants from makeshift beach camps to a new temporary facility in the North African enclave of Ceuta. The operation turned tense as people competed for limited places, prompting riot police to fire rubber bullets and use batons. Thousands of migrants remain stranded in the territory following a mass crossing from Morocco in July.
