Soman Chainani on moving from fantasy to political thriller
Soman Chainani’s young adult novel series, “The School for Good & Evil,” sold more than 4.5 million copies around the globe and became a hugely popular Netflix movie. On the latest episode of “Settle In,” he joins Amna Nawaz to discuss his new book, “Young World,” a political thriller about a teenager who becomes president of the United States. They talk about what’s changed for young people – and how to get them to both read and join the political process.
