Shakira visits Colombia quake zone, pledges aid
Colombian singer Shakira visited areas in the country’s Choco region affected by a 7.4-magnitude earthquake that killed 280 people, injured more than 4,000 and left another 143 people missing.
Shakira was joined by U.S. businessman Howard Buffett, son of investor Warren Buffett, who’s helping her Pies Descalzos foundation in rebuilding efforts for the country.
