Rafa Nadal built a tennis legacy. Now he’s building businesses
Rafa Nadal says he is focused on building a new legacy after tennis. “I built a legacy on the court, and now it’s the moment to build a legacy outside of the court,” Nadal told CNBC’s Tania Bryer.
The 22-time Grand Slam champion said his main investments are now in education, sports and hospitality.
Speaking at the opening of his fourth hotel, as part a joint venture with Meliá Hotels International, Nadal said he knew long before retiring that he wanted to keep working and learning after his tennis career.
“I need to have goals,” he said.
