Protesters storm TV channel offices in Belgrade demanding apology | DW News
Protesters stormed the offices of Informer TV in Belgrade and demanded the editor-in-chief make a public apology for the outlet’s pro-government coverage. The incident comes one day after a student-led movement called the Student List claimed victory in Serbia’s parliamentary elections, beating the Serbian Progressive Party of ex-President Aleksandar Vucic
Vucic has been accused of tightening control over public and private media in Serbia, and verbally abusing journalists. Reporters Without Borders ranked Serbia 104th out of 180 countries in its 2026 World Press Freedom Index, its lowest placement ever. Vucic has denied intimidating the media. #dwnews
