Poland examines Russian angle in school attack wave | DW News
Three attacks at educational institutions in less than a week have shocked Poland and triggered a major security response. Authorities say there’s no evidence the incidents were coordinated, but concerns are growing about copycat violence, online influences and school safety. Some politicians, including opposition leader Jarosław Kaczynski, have suggested that Russian influence operations may be encouraging this kind of violence online, although no evidence has yet been presented to support that claim. So what’s driving these attacks, and could more follow? We speak with security expert Professor Jacek Pyzalski of Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan.
