He expressed Canada’s sadness and solidarity with victims of the Spain train crash, noting at least two Canadians were injured. Asked whether Canada would entertain a US trade deal ahead of the American midterms, Carney said Canada will pursue only a deal that suits Canadians and benefits both countries.
