‘Pathetic’: Republicans shy away from making Trump seek congressional approval for Iran war


As the U.S. meets its 60-day deadline for the White House to seek congressional approval for the use of military force in Iran under the War Powers Act, Republicans say they will defer to the President that the U.S. “terminated” its conflict, even though the U.S. military is currently enforcing a blockade. Democratic Congressman Pat Ryan of New York, who serves on the House Armed Services Committee, joins “The Weekend” to discuss.
