For days, Loui Ridi has watched from Ohio via security camera as settlers gathered outside his family’s home in the occupied West Bank village of Qusra. Israeli forces say they have dismantled illegal outposts and deployed additional troops, while US Ambassador Mike Huckabee has publicly condemned the settlers involved. But Ridi tells us that “the settlers walk freely” and argues that his family needs protection, not statements.
