‘Nuclear terrorism’: How Ukraine’s nuclear plants keep the lights on amid Russian strikes | DW News


Dozens of Russian Kinzhal missiles have come within seconds of hitting Ukraine’s nuclear reactors, that’s according to the country’s prosecutor general. And there’s another, more frequent danger – Russian strikes on the power lines coming in and out of these plants. DW’s Nick Connolly has been to the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Station in western Ukraine to see how engineers there are training to deal with the fallout from Russia’s strikes on the energy grid.
