Navi Pillay wins Nobel Peace Prize after long career of investigating war crimes
International human rights lawyer Navi Pillay won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday. The Nobel Committee said it chose her as “institutions of international law are under political attack.” Hours later, the Trump administration sanctioned the International Criminal Court, where Pillay was a judge. Nick Schifrin speaks with Stephen Rapp for more on Pillay’s legacy and responses to the announcement.
