MS NOW EXCLUSIVE: ICE outfits some Haitians with ankle monitors after legal status expires

Advocates in Springfield, Ohio, say Haitian migrants previously on temporary protected status are being summoned by ICE and told they must either agree to deportation on the spot or wear an ankle monitor until their deportation hearing. In a statement to MS NOW, DHS encouraged former migrants to leave the country, but did not respond to this allegation. MS NOW Reporter Alex Tabet spoke with Haitian residents in Springfield about how the community is responding to and coping with the situation.
