MI Dem Senate primary too close to call: The latest
The Democratic Senate primary in Michigan is still too early to call, with Abdul El-Sayed’s lead over Rep. Haley Stevens tightening.
As of 8:40 am ET, El-Sayed’s lead had tightened to fewer than 15,000 votes in the state after more votes came in from Wayne and Oakland counties.
Wayne County is home to Detroit and the state’s largest and traditionally one of its slowest-counting counties.
