Massie names 14 Epstein associates to ‘shame’ DOJ
Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., renewed his push late Monday to release more of the government’s investigative files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“It has been a year since the president signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and the government continues to withhold over 3 million files,” he said in a House floor speech, noting that he and other lawmakers have introduced a second Epstein Files Transparency Act.
“We want perpetrators of these crimes to be investigated and prosecuted,” he added.
Massie, a frequent target of President Donald Trump who lost his primary bid to a Trump-endorsed challenger, then read 14 names of Epstein associates, including people who have been brought to Capitol Hill for interviews with the House Oversight Committee.
“Perhaps hearing these names will shame the Department of Justice into delivering justice,” Massie said.
