Manhattan DA seizes a dozen celebrity deepfake websites
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said Monday that a dozen deepfake websites, which used AI to generate photos of roughly 1,200 people, have been seized. New York state passed a law in 2023 barring AI-generated explicit images without the person’s consent.
