DoorDash will pay nearly $115 million to around 264,000 New York City delivery workers in the largest worker settlement in the city’s history. NYC Mayor Mamdani said the company failed to count every hour worked by Dashers for years, calling it neither a rounding error nor an accidental mistake. DoorDash acknowledged the errors, stating “simply put, we screwed up,” and noted that some workers were underpaid or paid late due to technical and operational issues that have now been fixed.
