President Volodymyr Zelensky says Ukrainian intelligence indicates Russia is preparing a new “massive attack” against Ukraine, as Kyiv seeks stronger air-defence support ahead of winter. The warning followed Zelensky’s meeting with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham during the UN General Assembly in New York. Zelensky also met President Donald Trump for 40 minutes, saying Ukraine is ready for a reciprocal ceasefire on attacks against energy facilities if Russia agrees to stop targeting Ukraine’s power, heating and water infrastructure. Moscow had not publicly accepted the proposal.
