Pope Leo is officially welcomed in Equatorial Guinea before he pays a visit to President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo at the Presidential Palace. He is also expected to meet with scholars at the León XIV Campus of the National University, the country’s main public university and will visit a psychiatric hospital.
