LIVE: Buckingham Palace marks 9/11 with Changing of the Guard ceremony
A special Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The Band of the Coldstream Guards will march to Buckingham Palace, playing “The Thunderer” and “The Stars and Stripes forever,” then a ceremony on the forecourt will include performances of the U.S. and UK national anthems. The U.S. Ambassador to the UK Warren Stephens and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are expected to attend.
