LIVE: Abdul El-Sayed SAVAGE Reply To Donald Trump, Predicts Senate Victory | US Midterm Election
Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed took a direct shot at President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Southfield, Michigan, just days before Election Day. Mocking Trump’s repeated attempts to pronounce his name, El-Sayed said Trump and Vice President JD Vance could not seem to stop talking about him.
He then delivered his challenge to the president: “We’re going to make him call me ‘senator.’” El-Sayed also mocked his Republican opponent, Mike Rogers, describing him as an “NPC” — a non-playing character.
The rally comes in the final stretch of a closely watched Michigan Senate contest. Democrats are fighting to retain the seat held by retiring Senator Gary Peters as they seek to secure a Senate majority.
