King Charles Tells Commonwealth Leaders in Antigua to Unite Against Climate Crisis, Stresses Unity

King Charles III addressed leaders at the official Commonwealth Heads of Government dinner in Antigua and Barbuda on November 4. Thanking Prime Minister Gaston Browne and the people of the islands for their welcome, he praised the unity of the 56-nation Commonwealth and warned that a world retreating behind walls would be lonelier and more dangerous. The King called for joint action on climate change and hurricane resilience, backed a proposed Commonwealth disaster relief insurance mechanism, highlighted the blue economy and spoke about young people, with some cricket humour.
